For the first few months of my sons life, almost all soap products, non-soap products, etc. made my son break out in a pimply irritated red rash. Plain water didn’t cut the scent of newborn poop and curdled milk, so I was quite happy that “baby mild” lived up to its name and didn’t cause my son’s sensitive skin to break out. It also cut through the newborn odors and left him smelling pleasantly clean and soapy with a hint of coconut- not perfumed.

It’s organic, so there are no worries about harmful chemicals. It is sulfate free and naturally high-foaming with a great rich lather.
The only possible downside of this soap is that it is recommended you keep it out of your eyes. But, based on my experiences with “no tears” shampoo, all soap should be kept out of the eyes unless you want to have a screaming child on your hands.

For those concerned about the environment, the icing on the cake is that the bottles are 100% post-consumer recycled plastic.
