Bob the Builder “Can Do Zoo” doesn’t list an age group, but it works best for children that have mastered the computer mouse. The game is all about building a zoo. There are pattern games, planning games, “find the toolâ€? games, and others. Each game requires mouse dragging and clicking.
The game is brightly colored, with just the right amount of audio. Unlike most child-oriented video games, this one didn’t either require I turn the volume down to near nil or make me want to jump out of a window in 15 minutes. However, because my daughter hasn’t quite mastered the mouse yet, she was pretty bored with the game quickly so I suspect its target audience is 3+. She did, however, LOVE the leaf blowing game and it was an excellent way to help her learn to work the mouse.
LANGUAGES
This game offers both English and Spanish as language options in the game, which is pretty awesome.
PACKAGING
This game comes in the typical DVD/video game packing, which means lots of plastic and those impossible to get off pieces of label tape.
BOTTOM LINE
I think this game is great as far as video games go. I really like the Spanish feature, which will help anyone trying to either accommodate a Spanish-speaking child, or help an English-speaking child become bilingual.
