Gerber Clear View and Fashion Tints Nurser bottles come in 5 and 9oz sizes, and in either clear or tinted BPA-free plastic. Nipples are available in silicone, newborn, slow, medium, fast cross cut, and three hole options. (The nipple that comes with the bottle is typically a rubber medium-flow nipple.) They are some of the most affordable BPA-free bottles on the market. Each bottle comes with a plastic neck ring, a silicon or rubber nipple, and a clear cap.

CONVENIENCE

Gerber Clear View Nurser and Fashion Tints Nurser bottles are wonderfully simplistic. In a world where baby items can be overwhelming and complicated these bottles make daily life a tad simpler. These bottles are about as simple as bottle feeding gets.

The sturdy shatterproof bottles leave plenty of room to shake formula after adding powder, which is surprisingly something not every bottle takes into account. The neck rings go on very easily without a struggle, and the nipples are very easy to insert. All of the parts are dishwasher safe, easy to clean with any bottle brush, and have no small parts or tubes to juggle. (Although the small caps are easily lost, this is a problem with any brand.)

I have never had a problem with these bottles leaking when in a diaper bag full of water or formula, which was an issue with vented bottles like Dr. Brown and Avent (which ultimately I found unnecessary in a baby who had no reflux or gas issues).

STYLE

The neck rings for the “Clear view” nursers come in three colors: blue, green, and purple. The “Fashion Tints” bottles come in a variety of colors with either white or matching neck rings. These bottles can be fun and are very pleasing to the eye, especially when using the clear silicone nipples that are sold separately.

THE NIPPLES

The ribbed nipples discourage collapsing and are soft enough to be comfortable yet firm enough not to collapse easily. The bottles come with rubber nipples but silicone nipples can be purchased separately and are available in newborn, slow, medium, fast cross cut and three hole options.

AFFORDABILITY

As a mom concerned with BPA plastics in baby bottles I switched to these bottles mainly for their safe plastic, however these bottle are EXTREMELY affordable as well; these only cost about $1 per bottle while other BPA free bottles can be as much as $10-15 per bottle!

THE BOTTOM LINE

These bottles are VERY affordable, BPA free, easy to use, easy to clean, and very durable. The only downsides that I could find after extensive use are that the Clear View nursers are only available in three packs with blue, green and purple included, and the non-vented system does create more bubbles in bottle than other fancier brands.

Overall I have been very happy with the quality, value and simplicity of Gerber’s Nurser bottles and would recommend them to any mom looking to use affordable BPA-free bottles.
