I have to admit. I bought this on a whim. I saw this at first, and thought it was the cutest thing! Thought to myself, “No more aching back as I bend over holding my son’s hands as he eagerly ‘walks’ where ever it is he’s wanting to go”

However, I feel this really only works for those children who are practicing walking anyway. Letting go of objects and “walking” to another within close distance. My son is eager to walk, but he’s still at the grasping and pulling himself upward stage. He’ll “river dance/walk” when guided and we hold his hands, other wise, Walking Wings aren’t that useful for him at this stage.

The straps can be extended for taller people, but don’t do much for guidance, only really to hold the weight so they don’t fall on their face.

It is hysterical to watch though. Your child will look incredibly high or drunk, just without the falling down. Taking steps and walking, then suddenly walking almost completely side wise as he feebly regains balance. You’ll get there someday son. =) We’ll put the walking wings away for now, and get them out in the next couple of months.
