The Time Too “Round the Clock” Baby Tracker is a great tool for new parents, or for parents that are trying to make any sort of sense out of their baby’s schedule. If you have twins or multiples, a child with special dietary needs or restrictions, if you’re coping with failure to thrive, colic, reflux, or general crazy sleeplessness, this little tool can be great at helping you figure out where schedule out the patterns in your little one’s life.

This little tracker can accommodate three months of 24 hour night and day tracking of your little one’s habits and day-to-day life.

CONTENTS

The bulk of this book is made up of Day and Night tracking pages (See the image to the right) Each day and night is broken down into a grid. Along the left are the hours of the day. Across the top are the different things that a baby will do during the day: Sleep, Feed, Change, and Play, as well as an area for comments. You can chart sleeping with arrows that show the duration of naps and sleep. You can enter either “ounces” if bottle feeding, or the side/duration you fed from if breastfeeding. Easy to use symbols can describe the diapers that you change, and the comments can be used to describe your baby’s activities in more detail. Fussy? Playful? Diarrhea? Spitup? Did Dad feed baby or did mom?

At the bottom of the page you can tally up the hours slept, ounces consumed, diapers changed, and any other information. Below that you can enter in notes about the day, and then there’s an area to quickly check off different activities such as vitamins, baths, and any daily activities or exercises that your baby needs. This area is pre-filled with common daily needs on the left, and has areas to add new needs on the right.

In addition to the daily tracking pages, this book has a lot of other information that it holds. It makes it very easy to track your child’s growth and milestones over a few months and then go back to them when you’re ready to update your child’s baby book.

AESTHETIC

The cover of this book is a bright reddish orange with slightly lighter “dingbat” style graphics depicting common items in a baby’s life: a bottle, a teddy bear, a diaper, etc. In the center is a funky green, blue and white “Round the Clock” graphic. Text under this reads “baby tracker” in large white letters followed by a sub-heading of  3 months * 24 hours in blue.

The back cover has the same color scheme but is mostly taken up by a white area that has a place to fill in the name of your child and the dates that the tracker covered. Below that is a second section where you can fill in the age/date and big moments and firsts that your child experienced. (9 rows)

SPECS:

This notebook has pages that are 6″ wide by 8 1/2″ tall. The binding is white one-inch double loop wire binding. The Round the Clock Baby Tracker can hold up to 3 months of data on its un-dated pages. This time tracker is printed on 100% recycled paper.

BOTTOM LINE

If you’re a stay-at home mom who isn’t anal about tracking your baby’s every movement, this is probably a bit of overkill for you. If you share feeding/diaper duty with dad and a babysitter, if you bottle feed, or if you have any special concerns about your child’s growth and development, this can be a great tool to have handy. Simple, very easy to use and very effective.

  1. I am expecting twins soon and I worry about being able to care for two babies at the same time. These log books are a great tool that can help with with feedings and babies schedules.

  2. My daughter is about to have her baby and she is worried about taking care of it as this is her first
baby. She could use this it looks liike a very helpful thing to have. Thanks for a chance to win one.

  3. My daughter is seven-months-old, and I worry that, when we have our next child, she still will be struggling to sleep through the night. I estimate that we get about three hours of sleep a night — five at the most — and it would be great to track her sleep, eating and diaper habits to make sure I have an accurate picture of the situation! Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. I always worry if I’m doing things right, especially as my 5 month old is still not sleeping through the night. Hopefully, keeping records will help to figure out a better schedule for us.

  5. I would love to win this for my sister-in-law who has a newborn preemie…I’m sure it would come in handy!

My biggest fear about parenthood is not enjoying every single moment and worrying too much about the little things!

  6. Although baby #3 is on the way, I still get nervous about taking care of a newborn this time around! They depend on us for everything and this would be a great way to keep track of them and make sure all is going well!

  7. My biggest fear is not getting enough sleep…by otherwise being up with the baby or by always checking on him when he is quiet and sleeping… I think this will baby tracker will help relax me and so I can hopefully sleep…

  8. My future Sister in law needs this badly

  9. I’ve had 4 sons. The 2nd has been maried almost 5 years and is afraid of having children because of what might go wrong with them i.e. winding up on one of thsoe Girls Gone Wild tapes. Maybe this would help him see the joys of parenthood. He is still young so I know there’s time later

  10. I need this !

  11. I am having my second baby boy in about 5 weeks. I am most nervous about having my babies so close together (they will be about 16 months apart). I am nervous that I will forget things about feeding/diapering etc. I hate looking like I don’t know what I’m talking about at the dr’s! This book would really help me to keep things straight. I have the worst memory and so everything down will definitely help me remember!!! =]

    Thanks for this giveaway!!! =]

  12. My son and his wife are expecting their first child in late spring, and this would be a nice addition to the gifts I am gathering to give my daughter-in-law at her baby shower. I recall how incapable I felt as a first time mom and having a log book like this would have been a welcome tool.

  13. Oh gosh! This book would really help because I have NO IDEA what my son’s schedule is! He is 4 months old and I usually “guess” at what it is by trying to remember, which isn’t always reliable. My biggest fear is that he’ll get sick and I won’t recognize the symptoms. He’s had a few colds and I always wonder if we should go to the doctor or not, but he usually gets over them quickly.

  14. My daughter is almost 10 months and we’re having issues with both her sleeping–she doesn’t!–and how much/little she eats. She’s a skinny little thing and a logbook like this would help to track how much she is eating and sleeping and when.

  15. this would be perfect for my son and duaghter in law – my third grand child theie first child is a difficult sleeper – this would be perfect for them!!!

  16. We are having sleep problems with my 8 month old son. He wakes multiple times in the night and my husband and I are getting very weary of never getting a full night’s sleep. I have started reading a book about sleep training and it says that it is important to get him on a sleep schedule to help get his internal clock to know when to sleep and when to be awake. A logbook like this would really help us to keep track of his schedule and would help us in our sleep training.

  17. Wow, this tracker looks great. It’s so organized that I couldn’t possibly screw something up! I can’t wait to have my son & hopefully my maternal instincts will kick in.

  18. This tracker looks awesome, one less thing to worry about with a new baby around! It covers everything I need!

  19. My biggest fear is not being organized. One of these log books might help me overcome this fear by providing the tools to schedule activities and record information.
