Play-Doh has a variety of different Easter options, from Easter Cards with squishy bits of Play-Doh, to these cute little Easter Chicks, each of which contains 2 ounces of Play-Doh. If you look carefully enough you might even find the rare Play-Doh bunny, a cute little white bunny with an orange carrot, who has a two-ounce cargo of Orange Playdoh and a carrot stamper on his feet. My favorites, though, are these charismatic little chicks.

QUALITY & CONSTRUCTION

These light-weight containers are shaped like little chicks, and they snap open to store 2oz of Play-Doh. On the bottom of their feet they have “baby chick” molds so that you can stamp out patterns in the dough.

The Play-Doh that comes in these little critters is a variety of spring hues. The blue chick comes with blue dough, the yellow one with yellow, and if you luck out and find the bunny you’ll get a great shade of creamsicle orange. It has the classic Play-Doh texture and smell, and is wheat-based.

PACKAGING

These little chicks come in packs of two in a plastic bag with a cardboard seal across the top. In addition to the bag they are also individually sealed to keep the dough from drying out. This means that you can break up the pair and give one to each kid, or use them as prizes at an Easter party.

BOTTOM LINE

It’s Play-doh. It’s fun and creative, what’s not to love?  The reusable chick containers are too cute to resist and I plan on refilling them with new Play-Doh as it dries out or gets lost. The containers aren’t just cute, they hold up to use and abuse much better than the regular plastic tubs.

Even if you’re not a fan of Easter, these little chicks are great for celebrating Spring in a fun and creative way.
