Tiki is a Tedde made by Jessica Lissow of Little Growlers. He stands 10″ tall and is a chubby little thing with a biiig heart and charming smile.

What is a Tedde? It’s a teddy-bear work of art. Tedde.com offers many different styles. Some look like funky updated takes on teddy bears, and some look like.. Well.. Not teddy bears. Some are cute, some are psychotic. And all of them are very, very different.

QUALITY & CONSTRUCTION

Each Tedde is hand-made, although Tikki is is seam-perfect enough to have been mass produced! He is made of fleece, wool felt and polyfill. Other Teddes might be made of minkee, yarn, fake fur, vintage wool, mohair, etc.

Each Tedde has its own Bio. Tiki’s reads: Tiki in his own words: I’ve kissed mermaids, rode the El Toro, my internal clock is set to 5:01pm. I live for quitting time, for books traded with friends and good music shared over an ice cold cola.

BOTTOM LINE

These Teddes are probably an awesome gift for an older girl or teen. Tiki holds up well to mistreatment from younger kids, but these little teddy-art pieces would be best appreciated by those that really understand how unique they are.
